2、 Secondly, one of the easiest ways to distinguish genuine leather bags from PU bags is the weight of the bag * (the following experiences are only for soft bags, except for stereotyped bags)

1. Weight. Because there is a big difference in composition between leather and PU, the total amount of leather is about twice as heavy as PU. If two bags of the same style and color are put on the hand, the leather feels heavier than PU.

2. Hand feel. In the case of genuine leather, cow leather is much softer than sheep leather. But if it is PU, it will be softer than sheepskin.

If it is a finished bag, grab the leather of the bag and feel it. You will find that the leather of the leather bag will be very thick when you touch it, while the PU bag will be very thin.

3. Prints. The success rate of this method is only 80%. This method can only be used as a reference. In addition, people don’t have many opportunities to try it when buying leather bags. The main method is to press your fingernails on the skin and see the time when the nail prints will be recovered. If the recovery is quick, the nail prints will almost disappear. Then the leather is made of PU. If the recovery is slow, it is genuine leather.

4. Hardware. This is a way for handbag manufacturers to easily distinguish leather from PU, that is, to look at hardware. (The so-called hardware refers to the metal objects on the bag, such as circles, buckles, square buckles, etc.) Generally, leather bags are made of genuine leather because of the high price of their leather materials, so if they want to be valuable, manufacturers will choose die-casting hardware (alloy hardware for short). There is no break on the surface, and the surface treatment is very smooth, in a word: high-end. The hardware used on PU will not be so particular. First, the hardware on PU will not rust and fade because of the acidity of PU, and the hardware on PU is basically iron wire (the so-called iron wire is like an iron wire twisted into different shapes, and the surface can clearly see the broken mark)

5. Look at the tag. Generally, bags are equipped with tags. The tag is hung on the bag after the main leather mold is pressed. When you buy a bag, the tag is usually useless, so you can use a lighter to burn it. If it doesn’t burn and tastes like protein, it is made of cow leather. If it melts when it is burned, it is material. This is the most original and effective method.

6.
